TX-E, an Australian hardware maker based in regional Victoria, has published real-world range test results for its WiFi HaLow product range, recording usable throughput at 1.5 kilometres. The devices are built around purpose-built embedded firmware and a USB web configurator, making them the first HaLow hardware designed for DIY installation by non-technical property owners.
