Connect - Outdoor is a weatherproof HaLow router designed for permanent external deployment. Where the Connect - Indoor suits locations close to the home, the Outdoor unit is built for the distances and conditions that rural properties actually demand — mounted on a shed wall, fence post, or pole, exposed to the elements year-round.

How it works Like the Connect - Indoor, the Outdoor unit operates as a dual-mode NAT router — either receiving your home internet (Starlink, NBN, or 4G) and broadcasting it as a long-range HaLow signal, or receiving a HaLow signal and creating a local 2.4 GHz hotspot at the far end. The 8 dBi external antenna extends the HaLow range to 1.5 km line of sight, making it well suited to large acreage and open paddocks.

Two modes, one device

  • Mode A: Connect to your existing router via 2.4 GHz and broadcast a HaLow signal outward across the property

  • Mode B: Receive a HaLow signal and create a standard 2.4 GHz hotspot at a remote location (shed, gate, outbuilding)

Built for remote and off-grid installations With an idle power draw of just 0.75 W and active TX of 2.25 W, Connect - Outdoor is well within the range of a small solar panel and battery setup — making it practical for locations well away from mains power. The weatherproof ASA enclosure handles an operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C.

Simple to manage Connect - Outdoor is configured via a browser-based setup tool — just connect via USB, open your browser, and you're in. No app download required.
